Dragon Siege Slots

Dragon Siege Slots
Dragons appear in many slots, some better than others, some more fearsome than others. It’s a fair bet we’re going to see one here too, since the creature appears in the title. So, does the Dragon’s Siege slot game hold lots of promise of a dramatic theme and plenty of features?

We decided to work out the answers for you, so we’re confident you’ll like what you are going to discover in our full review here.

Developer info for this slot game

It’s always good to know where a slot has originated, and in this case, it’s from the Bovada collection of slots.

Demo access guaranteed

If you visit the Bovada Casino, you should find Dragon’s Siege is one of many available games there. And yes, you can try before thinking about the real version of the game.

No big shocks with this theme

It might be unnerving to see such a feared dragon – this is no cartoon cuddly one, for sure – but other than that, we’re in the realms of fantasy here.

Lots of detail within the design

This helps support the dramatic nature of the game and lifts it out of the ordinary. The hero fighting the dragon (we assume) is on the reels, along with his princess. The dragon can also appear, both from a distance and just as its eye. Lots of other detail appears throughout the game too. Even the playing card symbols look nothing like they typically do, detailed and ornate as they are.

Getting underway with a spin of the Dragon’s Siege slot game

When the game has loaded, you’ll see the usual 5 x 3 reels in action. The game includes a progressive jackpot, displayed on a banner which hangs over the top of the reels. This fits with the theme as well, so we liked this touch.

There are a few special icons you’ll need to know about before you begin. There is a gate shown on one symbol and a bridge on another, for example. We won’t reveal their roles just yet, other than to say you need both to appear at once to benefit from their power.

The regular wild appears here as the princess. It also says WILD, so you’ll be in no doubt you’ve found it. She sits inside a gold circle. She cannot replace the gate, the bridge, or the scatter. The scatter symbol is the eye of the dragon. This can trigger scatter prizes but has no other role to play in this game.

Paylines available in Dragon’s Siege slots

In this game, you’ve got 20 lines. You can check their positions on the paytable.

How much can you wager?

You can sort through the available coins easily before you play, giving you control over how much to bet on each spin. We suggest doing this in the practice version of the game first, so you can find out more about the ongoing cost of playing if you decide to switch to the real game.

Paytable details

We liked the design as they’ve gone for headings on the left. Select a heading to get all the info you need on that topic on the right of the page. How simple is that? We wish other creators used this method too.

Bonus features are absent here

Sadly, yes, but there is something else you won’t want to miss.

Free spins come via the gate and the bridge

You may have guessed this, especially as we said the scatter doesn’t trigger anything. When the bridge turns up on reel one and the gate appears on reel five, you are given a choice. Choose one of the available characters to find out what your free spin count will be. The maximum available game count is 25.

The bridge and gate icons can appear in these games, but they won’t trigger more freebies. They will, however, behave as wilds – in addition to the princess. With three wilds in play, things could get interesting! They’ll replace all other symbols in action too.

Aside from that feature, all individual bridges and gates have the power to increase the base multiplier by 1x each time. You begin at 1x and could go to a maximum of 10x in this manner.

What is the return to player value here?

This is one fact we do not have for the game, unfortunately.

Is Dragon’s Siege a cool slot to try?

We think so, but of course every player thinks differently. If it helps, we’d rate this as an eight out of 10 game.

Everyone is looking for the progressive…

You’ll see it getting larger as you play, but who knows when the unique trigger may fall onto the reels to award it to one fortunate player?

The demo supplies easy access to try it out

You can lay siege to this game in practice mode to start with, giving you more info on the game and a chance to work out what you think of it.

Will you progress to play for real?

The free spin feature has some differences here, so we think many players will go on to give it a real spin.

You can also play on mobile

Android and iOS fans will no doubt be delighted to hear that.
