PayPal, an e-Commerce business money transfer firm established in 1999, renewed their services to cater to online casinos. This is after they already withdrew from catering to casino websites claiming the industry was unstable. 32Red Casino, Ladbrokes Casino were the first two to jump on the band wagon recently when they finalized an agreement with PayPal and Virgin Casino followed.

Since 2002, PayPal has tried not to do business with the online gambling industry, which was a decision that was made by PayPal's parent company, eBay. The decision was made following the United States federal government making accusations that they were in violation of the law because they were transferring funds to offshore gambling websites. Along the way there have been some exceptions though. In 2009, PayPal secured a deal with online gambling giant 888 Casino and with e-wallet provider Neovia. This deal enabled PayPal to be used as a payment method to online casino customers through Neovia's Netbank system.
